Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American model and singer. She is also a co-star in Prince's 1984 film, Purple Rain. She was the lead female singer in Apollonia 6 and co-starred in Prince's film Purple Rain from 1984. The 1980s saw the actor-singer Prince was christened Apollonia was one of the many female performers to gain from their association with the prince. Apollonia was finally able to release her debut in 1988 but the comparatively insignificant collection of dance and R&B songs did not be a hit with people who buy music and it soon disappeared off the shelves.
